The Vessel

The Sepia was a three masted barque and operated as a trading vessel plying the waters between London and Fremantle. Aboard were twelve crew and a mixed cargo of 200 tons.

The wreck event

The Sepia struck a submerged rock on the outer edge of the five fathom bank and sunk within ten minutes

The site

The dive site has a number of features, deck framing, mast sections, sternposts, deck winch, anchor and the bow are all easily discernable, as this site has a number of prominant features, it makes fantastic photographic opportunities.
